TADTELightweight innovation sets new benchmark for aerospace and defense applications

Taipei, Taiwan – September 15, 2025 – EZ ProCOAT Tech Co., Ltd.(EZPCT), a pioneering startup in metal material applications and precision manufacturing, today announced it will debut its latest all-magnesium alloy drone structure at the upcoming Taipei Aerospace & Defense Technology Exhibition (TADTE), held September 18–20 at the Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1.

Designed to accelerate large-scale drone production, EZPCT’s breakthrough magnesium alloy technology offers a cost-effective, lightweight, and high-performance alternative to traditional carbon fiber and composite materials. This innovation marks a major step forward in the evolution of unmanned aerial systems.

Redefining Drone Body Structures

EZPCT’s newly engineered all-magnesium alloy frame is specifically tailored for drone lightweighting. Compared to aluminum alloys, magnesium alloys deliver more than a 30% weight reduction while maintaining equivalent structural strength. The result is extended flight endurance, improved payload efficiency, and enhanced mission performance.

The solution also addresses common drawbacks of carbon fiber and composite materials, including high cost, brittleness, poor scratch resistance, difficulty of repair, and environmental disposal challenges.

Military-Grade Standards with Eco-Friendly Innovation

By leveraging precision casting and next-generation low-carbon surface treatment technologies, EZPCT ensures its magnesium alloy frames meet stringent aerospace and defense requirements. The structures deliver superior resistance to corrosion and vibration while offering excellent thermal management and long-term stability.

“Magnesium alloy once had its heyday in Taiwan, but many manufacturers left the field due to material challenges,” said Hsieh Shih-Teng, Chairman of EZPCT. “With decades of expertise in light metal surface modification, EZPCT has now overcome these limitations. Our innovative coatings and treatments open new possibilities for magnesium alloy applications, and we are excited to present these advancements to the global aerospace community.”

Connecting the Future of Unmanned Systems

At TADTE 2025, EZPCT will showcase multiple drone body designs and offer customized consulting services for tactical drones, logistics carriers, and reconnaissance platforms. The company invites aerospace, defense, and unmanned system partners to visit Booth I0423 to explore new collaborations and applications.
